Shantiniketan World School (+2)
Shantiniketan World School (+2) was established in July, 2010, Under Manav Seva Samiti Nonprofit registered society. It is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The School has classes from Play Group to XII. The School offers PCM, PCB, Commerce and Arts streams at +2 level.
The School’s goals are based on the following beliefs-
Children need large blocks of uninterrupted time to explore activities and conquer new skills.
When children play, make – belief, they use their imagination and develop creativity.
Teachers help children’s language development by reading to them, singing simple songs with movement encouraging their participation.
Our learning goals for children include – participating as part of a classroom community, developing social competence, developing early language and mathematics concepts.
“Do not set limitations for your child. Let him aim for stars”.
To make this happen we are coming up with X-SEED, a research- based academic program that builds thinking skills and problem solving confidence in children. Here the children ask more questions, can write on their own like doing word problems in mathematics, can complete their homework on their own, are not afraid to speak in English, persist longer in solving problems and score well on tests. We build connections between the child’s day at school and life at home.
Shantiniketan Stepping Stones PRE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Life at Shantiniketan Stepping Stones is all about learning through play and having fun in a warm, stimulating environment. Every child is different and we believe they should be allowed to flourish in their own way.
“Inspiring learners for life”
Our motto reflects our values: to provide the most positive early learning experience possible for families. We aspire to being the platform from which the youngest members develop love for learning that we hope will continue throughout their lives.
Our children are aged from 2 years to 4 years and all of them love fresh air and messy mitts! Our outdoor play area and indoor activities give them everything they need to fill their day with fun. As a pre-schooler, your child will be at the first stage of learning and our activities reflect this based on the government framework; the early years foundation stage. This covers seven areas of development and aims to give children a range of experiences to help them develop the right skills and attitudes for later learning’s.
